Madonna x Grindr: the CONFESSIONS II giveaway at GUNDERWEAR

To celebrate Madonna's CONFESSIONS II, I organised a special giveaway at GUNDERWEAR. Among orders placed between 2 and 12 July 2026, I raffled a Grindr Exclusive Picture Disc of the album.

Madonna, Grindr and CONFESSIONS II

Grindr was an official partner around the launch of Madonna's CONFESSIONS II. Part of that partnership was an exclusive picture-disc variant with alternative artwork, specifically linked to Grindr.

The collaboration fitted remarkably well with an album launch around Pride and with Madonna's long-standing connection to the gay community. If you want to read more about the official partnership, visit Grindr.

Why this promotion was personal to me

I have been a Madonna fan since childhood. My earliest memories of her music go back to playing at friends' houses while Madonna played through the speakers. Not much later, I bought Like a Prayer myself.

Since then, she has remained much more to me than simply an artist with a long list of hits. Madonna has continually pushed boundaries around sexuality, religion, gender, freedom and self-expression. That is exactly what has made her work meaningful to many queer people.

Madonna and the gay community

Throughout her career, Madonna has not only addressed the gay community as an audience, but also made queer culture a visible part of her work and performances. That is why the collaboration with Grindr did not feel like a random brand campaign.

That combination of music, visibility, freedom and an outspoken queer audience also felt like a natural fit with GUNDERWEAR to me. That is why I did not want to keep a copy of the exclusive picture disc for myself, but instead raffle it among customers.

How did the GUNDERWEAR giveaway work?

Every order placed between 2 July 2026 at 2:00 PM and 12 July 2026 at 12:00 AM was automatically entered.

A simple rule applied: every item purchased counted as one chance in the draw. An order containing one item therefore gave one chance; with three items, the same order entered three times.

No promotional code was required and customers did not need to register separately for the draw.

The winner has been announced

After the promotion ended, I carried out the draw. The video below shows which order number won the Grindr Exclusive Picture Disc.

About the Grindr Exclusive Picture Disc

The Grindr variant is a picture disc of the 12-track version of CONFESSIONS II with alternative artwork and a transparent sleeve. The variant was officially part of the collaboration between Madonna and Grindr around the album launch.
